Diabetic foot ulcers
If improper pressure loading and minor injuries are no more sufficiently felt, pressure ulcers of the feet may occur in the sequence.
A pressure relief of the feet through a special footbed, and an adequate wound treatment of pressure ulcers are then essential.
We perform regular examinations of the feet to
detect skin damage or orthopedic deformities. For the assessment of sensory disturbances, we perform neurological
examinations of the feet.
To detect circulatory disorders of the feet, we carry
out sonographic examination of the leg arteries.
We advise on the prophylactic measures, prescribe and
arrange a suitable shoe care.
